1) Tell us about yourself!

I work as an historian for a private consulting firm. We mostly work with the Department of Justice on litigation involving historical topics- like Native American or environmental issues. Though I’m originally from a touristy Florida town, I now pursue vaguely hippie-esque hobbies like hiking, homebrewing, tossing a frisbee around, or listening to live music.

2) Tell us about the ‘Ugly’ in your photo.

Ill fitting and from one of those “classy” mall department stores. I only wish I could claim it was a gift from Grandma.

3) Tell us about the photo of you in your Hugh & Crye!

A much improved fit in my Towne and Country! Besides looking better, I enjoy supporting a local business. When I receive compliments on my H&C shirts (and I do), I get to tell a story about a D.C. store. More fun than discussing shirts with horses or whatnot. I also feel good about their decisions to support local charities and interact with the community. Definitely a win all around.

4) Finally, tell us something interesting about yourself.

I played my first public musical performance in front of hundreds of people- with my fly down.
