Darts are for Lovers
Dart / därt / n. 1. A tapered tuck sewn to adjust the fit of a garment.
We’ve talked about darts before. Most guys will readily admit they don’t know they even existed. Women, on the other hand, know exactly what darts are — they’re everywhere in their clothing! Darts improve fit, in ways that are geometrically impossible otherwise.
This Thursday, with the help of WGirlsDC and a few fantastic hosts (Shannon Wright, Tracey Schmitt, Lisa Throckmorton and Jeannie Etchart), we’ll continue to educate the Washingtonian male with our event “Darts are for Lovers”.
Join us for a charity event benefiting Back on My Feet – a nonprofit organization that promotes the self-sufficiency of the homeless. We’ll also have an open bar, with The Gibson’s bartender extraordinaire, Jon Harris.
