New Space, Old Memories

Friends,

We have long outgrown our office space here in Georgetown; a small, humble, creatively chaotic office that overlooks the bustle of M Street below. We entered the office-within-an-architectural-firm late in 2009, just before the launch of our first collection. Fortunately, our growth has prompted the need for a bigger space, and we’ve moved on to one of our own (sneak peak in a picture  here.)

Bigger space, blank slate. And though we’ve already moved physically, our thoughts are still with the little memories that made each day back at the “old space”. We wanted to take a moment to capture them here.

Dismantling racks: (with monitor from the late ’80s)

Our view: M street during Georgetown’s evening rush hour.

The spirited MR. CURTIS, who manned the lobby. Rain or shine, he welcomed us into the building.

Lunch at H&C consisted of a daily decision between the healthy sweetgreen on one side, and
a power-fat lunch at Qdoba (not pictured)

Supply Closet: Aside from not paying utilities and various other perks, the big thing we’ll miss is the endless amounts of miscellaneous supplies (who doesn’t love free CDs, even though we haven’t burned one in like 5 years)

Architecture Models: Since we were subletting from an architecture firm, we were constantly surrounded by great design and architecture. Here’s an example of some of the inspiration we had surrounding us.

We will be posting pictures of our new studio soon! So stay tuned. Until then, a few ways to keep in touch:
